The Diablo Women's Chorale (DWC) is a secular community choir with an aim to spread hope, joy and light–on stage and off.  While we strive for artistic excellence, we welcome singers with varying musical backgrounds and skill sets.  DWC performs music with a focus on inspiring and uplifting contemporary repertoire from the pop, jazz, and folk idioms.  DWC is open to women, women-identified, non-binary, and gender-fluid singers.  DWC does not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, religious or cultural practices, sexual orientation, age, or physical ability.

Our Director – Erin Fishler

Erin grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area surrounded by music.  She started performing at a very early age singing and doing voice over work for national television commercials.

Erin earned a Masters of Jazz Vocal Studies from Northern Illinois University.  She started her private teaching studio when she was twenty years old.  Since that time she has taught hundreds of students in Iowa, Chicago, Illinois, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

In addition to a thriving teaching career, Erin has also worked as a professional vocalist and keyboard player for the last sixteen years performing in Chicago and with local Bay Area musicians.  She recently recorded backing vocals on a track of the Grammy nominated album, “With Love” by Miami arranger Jeremy Fox.
